Khaled Meshaal: Al-Quds liberation will not be through negotiation

Head of Hamas bureau abroad Khaled Meshaal said, on Sunday evening, that al-Quds liberation will not be through negotiations, fake peace treaties with the enemy or normalization, stressing that "Israel is the first and most dangerous enemy to Palestine and the region."

AhlulBayt News Agency: Head of Hamas bureau abroad Khaled Meshaal said, on Sunday evening, that al-Quds liberation will not be through negotiations, fake peace treaties with the enemy or normalization, stressing that "Israel is the first and most dangerous enemy to Palestine and the region."

Meshaal's statements came during the "Fath Al-Salahi Festival", organized by the Global Coalition to Support Al-Quds and Palestine, in  Istanbul marking the 835th anniversary of the liberation of al-Quds by the Islamic leader Salah Al-Din Al-Ayyubi.

Al-Quds and Al-Aqsa Mosque are waiting for us to race for their liberation, he said.

In his speech, Meshaal pointed that Al-Fath Al-Salahi carries three important connotations.

"First, the importance of al-Quds and Al-Aqsa, for which the nation’s renaissance was achieved and united."

The second indication, Meshaal continued, is that "al-Quds liberation can only be achieved through jihad, resistance and martyrs.

"The third indication is very important as Salah al-Din is not a Palestinian, not even an Arab, but a Kurdish Muslim, who was turned into a symbol of the entire nation."

Meshaal further pointed out that al-Quds liberation anniversary coincides with the 22nd anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Intifada (uprising).
